I bought this saddle for my Haflinger/Chincoteaque pony after I realized my two other saddles were pinching her withers and giving her a sore back. I had the saddle only two days before leaving for a 4 day horse vacation in the Adirondack Mtns. My horse and I adapted just fine without any soreness on her or rubbing on me.
The saddle puts you in proper position, allows for movement in your legs and is a wonderful fit for us ladies over 50! I have ridden in a western saddle for over 25 years. The transition to the English stirrup leathers was minimal. That was my biggest worry, but it proved to not be an issue at all.
Highly recommend this saddle.

I absolutely love my Tennessean Performance Series Gary Lane Pro Trail saddle that I purchased a year ago. I usually ride 2-3 times a week and this saddle is comfortable and durable. Still looks like new! The leather is soft and beautiful. I was having a hard time fitting my Rocky Mountain Horse in a saddle. This saddle fits him perfectly. National Bridle's help in letting me try the tree first was perfect. Once I saw the tree on him, I ordered the saddle immediately! No regrets! When in this saddle, my body naturally falls into a proper equitation position. I've had other saddles that positioned my pelvis so my legs would swing forward. This is the perfect saddle for both my horse and me!
